Pocket Gems products have been downloaded over 350 million times by players around the world — including War Dragons, a visually stunning 3D real-time strategy game whose large player network receives frequent marketing and community email.
The problem: an outdated email design that didn’t feature the new rebrand — or work on mobile. Poor hierarchy made campaigns hard to scan, the typography clashed with the brand, and promotions had nowhere to live.
Punch redesigned and coded a responsive, modern email template system — easy enough for the marketing team to use on their own every day. We focused on engagement-based design, usability, customization, and long-term use. The result: clicks doubled, without changing how Pocket Gems worked and sent email.
